Marco, Jaime, Karen and me at Nicholas Seafood

Woke up at 7.30 AM, took a shower and went back to my room. Said goodbye to Marco, who's going back to Canada and getting ready to fight in Afghanistan. He's being here for just three days and now called back. How cruel to break off an holiday like that, but duty calls. We wanted to visit the Sydney Fish Market today, Marco took went off to arrange his flight and catch up later.

Jaime and I walked to the fish market and it started to rain a little bit. Once we arrived at the market there were a lot of people walking around. Lots of seafood are sold here or be shipped for trading. We walked around a bit and saw a lot of different fish. Time for lunch, we decided to buy 1 kg of prawns and one big crab at Nicholas Seafood. Helped by Karen who's working at the fish market, we asked her if it was possible to prepare them here as well.

No worries! Hey, that's not bad at all. We split the cost of $ 72 AUD and waited for our meal. It took awhile before we were served. My goodness! One big plate of prawns and one plate of crab. Dig in! What a feast! Yummy! Those prawns were to die for and not to mention the fresh crab. I can't get enough eating this kind of seafood, but it's pretty expensive. It was nice to have a lunch like this one.

In a short time everything was gone and the only things was left were empty shelves on four plates. The meal was absolutely delicious! This was a rememberable moment, so I took a picture of our leftovers from the meal. While we were resting from our eating frenzy, Marco walked in. He maded it to the fish market! Marco ordered Sushi and I was still hungry, so I ordered something small, chips, prawns and Cola. Sat down again and ate my lunch. Later on I asked Karen to take a picture of the three of us. Not a problem. When I asked her if she wanted to be in the picture as well, she didn't want too. A little pressure and luckily Karen decided to do it anyway.

"I'm going to put it on the internet", I said. We exchanged e-mail addresses, left the fish market and took the tram back to Pyrmont Bay. We walked across the Pyrmont Bridge right into the city centre. Marco has to make some calls so Jaime and I waited outside an office building. We decided to split up, I had things to arrange. I really wanted extend my holiday as long as possible.

I walked to the office of Singapore Airlines and asked if it was possible to change my flight. Not a problem. Instead of going home on Sunday, I'm going on Thursday! The only problem was I didn't know if I could stay longer in the hostel. Rushed back to hostel and asked if I could stay longer in the same room. No worries! Called Singapore Airlines to change my flight. I had extended my holiday with three days! Yeah!!!

Four more days in Sydney! Need to send my souvenirs back home, but finding a post-office wasn't easy. If you don't need them they are everywhere, but if you need them they are nowhere to be found. Finally found one and bought a big box and walked back to the hostel. Walking along Pitt Street, I saw across the street a familiar face. Looks like Nick from the Contiki tour along the east coast. It was Nick and we talked for awhile before we continued our own way. Back at the hostel wrote my diary.

Later on in the evening Marco and I went out for dinner. We walked to the Market City and China Town. Ate at a take away chicken with noodles. Quite funny, because the lady behind the counter hit the bell a thousand times before I picked up my meal. The meal was way to much for me, so marco finished my meal. Afterwards we went to Starbuck Coffee for tea. Sat outside and talked about things. Back at the hostel Jaime, Marco and I sat at the lounge room, we talked and drunk some Cola. Time is near, because Marco has to catch his flight to Canada. We said goodbye, Jaime and I went to the Star City Casino. Played till around 1.15 AM. Almost forgot that tomorrow I had a Contiki reunion. Jaime wanted to stay a little longer, so I went back to the hostel. Next
