8:30 AM. Said goodbye to David, who was leaving. Took a shower and got dressed. One day to go before I had to return to Holland. That really s*cks! I had such a great time over here, didn't want to leave this place. It was raining outside and it didn't make me feel better. Checked my e-mails and using my save points that I had saved from the Global Gossip. I caught the bus to the city centre.

Walked to the Singapore Airlines flight centre to check my flight schedule for tomorrow. The flight was changed to 5:00 PM. That was good news! More hours to spend in Sydney! More time to check out this great city before heading back home.

Walked to the Opera House to buy a souvenir for my ex-colleague. He asked me, to buy it when I was here, so I'm doing it right now. Walked at the Opera House for a short while before heading back to the city centre. Dropped off my last film rolls to get them developed and put on CD.

Getting hungry, so it was time to visit the foodcourt. Ordered a dish of fried rice, prawns and veggies. Yummy!

Afterwards visited some more shops. Bought a DVD of Aliens, such a great movie to watch for a decent prize. Went back to the hostel to drop off my stuff. I wanted to bring my box to the post-office, but it was raining really really hard. Abnormal weather condition during this time of the year, it must be the tropical storm around New South Wales that causes such bad weather. I'd better bring my box to the post-office tomorrow.

I went off to the city centre again to pick up my photos from the photoshop. The photos turned out very well and they were put on CD as well. Fortunately I got a discount rate, because I let them develop seven film rolls. Saves me a couple of bucks. Said goodbye and walked into the city centre. Bought sushi menu and went off to Woolworths to buy groceries. Took the bus back to the hostel. I had an early dinner of sushi, noodles and some juice. Wrote my diary and postcards. Checked my e-mails and did my laundry. In the lounge room I had some time to read and to lay back.

On the 9th floor there was an information night about what to do in Australia. Funny, I was almost leaving, but Jaime was going to stay here. I listened what they had to tell and there was even an auction. Went to the laundry room to bring my stuff to my room and came back to listen or see more slides of Down Under. For a while it was pretty nice to hear all that stuff, it brings back so much memories. Jaime asked me if I wanted to go to the Star City Casino. That's fine by me, so we took off.

In a couple of days, I've been to the casino almost five or six times! Jaime is fond of gambling. He lost huge, but he also gained. At the end he had won about $ 1100 AUD, that was pretty neat. It seems that I didn't get so lucky tonight, I had lost only $ 50 AUD. Time to go, we took a taxi back to hostel and went off to sleep. Next
