6:15 AM. Woke up, too early in the morning and I fell back asleep. 8:15 AM. My last day here in Australia. Time to go home. I'm not pleased at all, not looking forward to going back to Holland and back to work. Really the worst feeling, I've had such a great time here. I wanted to stay here forever.

I took a shower and once back in my room I started to pack. Outside it was raining and windy too. Just the same mood I'm in right now. Gathered all my stuff and went to the locker room on the first floor. Found a large locker, to put my large backpack and other stuff in. Picked up my box to send it home and went to the Global Gossip to check my e-mails for the last time.

Dropped my box at the post-office. It cost $ 69 AUD of postage to send it home. That's a load of money, but it's always better than carrying it around and breaking your back. My flight is at 5:00 PM, enough time to stroll around in this magnificent city. Visited some shops and got hold of the lyrics of "Home Among The Gumtrees", I have heard it a couple of times during the tour. Nice Aussie song!

11:00 AM. My last lunch at the foodcourt. Ordered at Chop Chop a delicious meal. Great take away! Visited a couple of music stores and bought a CD of UB40 and Belinda Carlisle. Time is running out, I had to return to the hostel to pick up my stuff. In the lunchroom I drank some orange juice and ate fruit out of a cup.

Picked up my stuff from the locker room and went downstairs. Took a picture of the crew working at the service desk. Met Jaime too, who was booking a trip to Tasmania. Good for him! I wanted to visit Tasmania too, sometime in the future. Said goodbye and walked to the bus station, which is just a couple minutes away. I waited at the bus stop and a couple minutes later a taxi stopped. "Are you going to the airport?", said the driver. Yes, indeed. For only $ 7.00 AUD I could hop on. It could take a while before the bus arrives. Pretty neat and less hectic than driving in a bus.

Waited in line to check-in, talked with a couple who was staying here in Sydney and they were bringing their father away. I asked them kindly if it was possible to put my large backpack on their carrier. No worries! In return I gave my TravelTen ticket to them, because I can't use it in Holland. Said goodbye, checked-in and passed customs. Visited some shops at the airport. I had some money left, I was thinking on buying a GameBoy Advance. I'm pretty fond of playing videogames, but at the end I didn't buy it.

5:00 PM. Boarded the flight. Slept a little bit during the flight to Singapore. Dinner was served. The meal was pretty good. No complains at all. Played a couple of videogames. Singapore Airlines has Nintendo onboard, so there's no way I felt bored. The stewardesses were helpful, and also looking great. Rachel, one of the stewardesses was nice, we exchanged our e-mail addresses once we touched down in Singapore. There wasn't a problem to get a picture of her as well. Said farewell and I left the airplane.

It was around 11:45 PM when we arrived in Singapore. It was pretty warm here. I took off my sweater, walked around the airport, visited some shops while waiting for my connecting flight to Holland. Next
