Tour Ends

Saturday 3 November

10:00 AM. We said goodbye to the Aussie Explorer group. Sadly it had to end sometime. The remaining group went to the cafe/bar to relax and have a drink. After a while we also said goodbye to Caroline and Laurette and went to your room to rest. At noon we catched our shuttle bus to the city.

Strolling down the shopping centre in Central and the inner city. Lunch at a take away. There were many choices on the menu, I had chosen a Kangaroo burger. Yummy! Caught the shuttle bus back to the resort and took some rest in our room. Took it easy and went to the bar, played a couple of games of pool against John. Rested till dinner time.

7:15 PM. Brian, John and I went to downtown for dinner. We walked for a while and I tried to find the Italian restaurant, where I had dinner before on my previous tour. I couldn't find it, but it must have been somewhere along the Esplanade.

We decided to eat at the Rattle 'n Hum. We ordered a couple of drinks. We had to wait for almost one hour. As we decided to go somewhere else to eat, the hostess gave us a table. That was on the edge of time. Sat down and read the menu. I ordered the Stiralon steak menu. The dinner was delicious. After dinner we went to an internet cafe to setup an account for Brian. Replying some e-mails and we headed back to our resort. Wrote my diary and went off to bed.
