Our group photo is taken from Mrs Macquarie's Point, with two of the world's best known landmarks in the background - the Sydney Opera House and the Sydney Harbour Bridge. It makes a great holiday souvenir and an excellent way to remember your fellow travellers.

Choices in Surfers Paradise

Sea World
A marine and water park offering you an opportunity to experience many entertaining shows, including the dolphin and sea lions and the spectacular water ski show. There are plenty of rides, including the Bermuda Triangle and the triple loop corkscrew rollercoaster. The park has a number of restaurants, an Oceanarium as well as shark, penguin, seal and polar bear displays.

Movie World
Warner Brothers' million dollar Studio and Theme Park is linked to an operational studio with an established track record producing both movies and television shows and offers an inside look into the magic, fantasy and escapism of the movies. View a vast kaleidoscope of comedy, stunts, animatronics and fun, with visitors joining the actors in the excitement, and of course don't forget the thrill of the various rides including "Batman" and "Lethal Weapon"!

Dreamworld
Dreamworld offers something for everyone. There are eleven themed 'worlds' to explore and enjoy. Ride the fastest and tallest thrill ride in the world, the Tower of Terror, see the rare Bengal Tigers on Tiger Island, ride the rapids on Thunder River or visit Koala Country and see a variety of native Australian animals. A day is hardly enough time to see it all!

Tiger Moth Biplane Flight
Fly in a vintage Tiger Moth and experience the freedom of the open cockpit with the sound of the wind in the wires. The flight is over the beautiful and very scenic Surfers Paradise and for a little extra you can "Loop the Loop", do "Barrel Rolls" and "Spins".

Learn to Surf
Hit the waves on one of Australia's famous surf beaches. First learn the basics, then hit the water, where the professional instructor will help you refine your surfing skills. Take a cruise in Hervey Bay, from mid August to mid October and view the southern humpback whales returning south to Antarctica after calving in northern waters. Whale watching boats cruise amongst the huge mammals allowing you to view from close range whilst they rest and play in the bay.

Outer Barrier Reef Cruise
Cruise to Hardy Lagoon with Fantasea aboard their air-conditioned, high speed catamaran. On the journey to the Barrier Reef, you are offered complimentary tea and coffee, shown the art of snorkeling and can watch educational reef videos. Once on the Reef, take a tour in a glass bottomed boat and semisubmersible, but the very best way to experience the Reef is to get amongst it by swimming and snorkeling. For a few dollars more, you can commission a video of your experience and prove to your friends that you really did it!

White Water Rafting
Enjoy over 4 hours of white water rafting on the Tully River. Excitement builds as you tackle world famous rapids that take you through spectacular rainforest. A delicious lunch on the river banks is followed by more first class rafting.

Quicksilver Outer Barrier Reef Cruise
A full day out to Agincourt Reef on the outeredge of the Great Barrier Reef aboard Quicksilver's hi-tech Wave Piercer Catamaran. Included in your day is snorkeling (all equipment provided), coral viewing by semisubmersible and underwater observatory, marine biologist presentation, plus a smorgasbord lunch with seafood and morning and afternoon tea.

Scuba Diving (in addition to Outer Barrier Reef Trip)
The opportunity of a lifetime when you try scuba diving with Quicksilver Dive. They will assist with all equipment and training. Introductory dives (for beginners) and certified dives are available. Anyone is able to participate (subject to medical conditions). Diving is fun and easy - don't miss out!

Bungee Jump
First you'll climb the tower, gradually getting higher through the surrounding rainforest and finally in to clear air which offers amazing views of the ocean and distant Green Island. Next attached to an elastic bungee cord you launch yourself from the 44m high bungee tower.

Skyrail
Climb aboard for the 'World's most beautiful rainforest experience'. The skyrail will take you on a cableway ride just above the Rainforest canopy between Cairns and Kuranda. On the way you have the chance to experience the beauty and diversity of the rainforest at floor level at the two interactive stations. Take walks, see the displays at a Rainforest Interpretive Centre or ask questions of the expert staff and local guides.

Kuranda Scenic Train
The scenic train winds its way down from Kuranda, through the MacAlister Range and sugar cane fields, into Cairns. A commentary explaining the importance of this rail link in the early days of Cairns' development accompanies you as you travel through 15 tunnels, mostly hand carved.

Tjapukai Aboriginal Cultural Park
On entering the park you are taken on a journey back to the Dreamtime. Hear the stories which have been passed down from generation to generation come to life with the aid of the latest theatrics and technology. From here experience many aspects of Aboriginal culture. Try your hand at boomerang and spear throwing, see the provocative history theatre and view the world reknown Tjapukai Aboriginal Dancers.

Hot Air Ballooning
Put your alarm on for an early start! This adventure begins at dawn and with your help, the balloon is filled and made ready for lift off! The next half hour is peacefully spent in mid-air, gazing at the ancient landscape of the Atherton Tablelands, formed by extinct volcanic activity. Once you have landed, enjoy breakfast and a glass or two of cold champagne.

Sea Kayaking
Circumnavigate Fitzroy Island in a sea kayak. Guided by experts, you will receive instructions before heading out. A picnic lunch is provided on "Little Fitzroy Island" before returning to the main resort in the afternoon.
