Welcome to my website. It's based on the trip I took to Australia in October/November 2001. Touring along the magnificent east coast with Contiki and afterwards I payed a visit to Melbourne & Sydney.

Travelogue-contest
In February 2000 I did a Contiki tour (Grand Adventurer) in New Zealand. It was awesome! Beautiful scenery, places, landscapes, etc. I also entered the Contiki travelogue-contest on the very last day of September 2000, before the deadline which was on 1 October 2000. Early November I received a letter from Contiki and they had informed me that I was the Grand Prize winner of their travelogue-contest! WOW! Click here for the winning design. A free Contiki tour, anywhere Contiki travels and $500 spending money! Very nice! I only needed to pick a nice trip...

Beaches & Reefs
I really love Australia! Such a great country. I could pick a tour in Europe, US, Canada, but I didn't. The Beaches & Reefs tour with Contiki is a 14-day guided tour along the east coast of Australia. Started in Sydney on 21 October 2001 and ended in Cairns on 3 November 2001. Travelling almost 4000 km with a bunch of people and visiting interesting places like the Gold Coast, Whitsunday, Fraser Island, the Great Barrier Reef and much more...

Melbourne & Sydney
After the Contiki tour along the east coast, I had another two weeks left. Enough time to visit the two largest cities of Australia, Sydney and Melbourne. Visiting the Great Ocean Road, Twelve Apostles, Blue Mountains, Three Sisters, beaches of Sydney and much more...
